Event Overview
Join the Atlanta Raptors for a full-day off-road adventure through the southern Cohutta and Amicalola sections of the Georgia Traverse. This route offers everything from rolling gravel roads and mild climbs to creek crossings and mountain overlooks — perfect terrain to enjoy the fall colors and test your Raptor’s capability in a relaxed convoy format.
We’ll start and end in Ellijay, GA, making it convenient for everyone returning home to Atlanta afterward. Expect about 6–7 hours on trail, minimal pavement, and plenty of scenic stops along the way.
Schedule
8:00–8:30 AM — Meet-up at Cartecay River Brewing Co. (Ellijay, GA)
Coffee, fuel-up, safety briefing, and air down.
8:45 AM — Depart for trail entry
Spend the day exploring the Georgia Traverse’s Cohutta Amicalola loop with designated regroup points for breaks and photos.
3:00–3:30 PM — Return to Ellijay
Air up, refuel, and enjoy a post-run drink or meal before heading back to Atlanta (~90 min drive).
